Hot winds prevail on the long walk back from surfing for a world "famous" Jalama-Burger. Jalama is known also for its open coastline and windy sand-blown campground and an unending supply of waves for the aggressive surfer. When I am walking the beach at Jalama I feel like I am truly at the edge of the continent.

He was a successful high school football coach and History teacher for 30 years. Jeff grew up in Santa Barbara California and learned to body surf from his lifeguard father when he was four years old. He shared a balsawood surfboard with a friend when he was 13 and payed for, bought, and rode his first fiberglass board at the age of 15. Jeff has a special feeling for the ocean and surfing...
